Story Behind hut-E

Hut-E (Hatti) is the Punjabi word for a village (Pind) corner shop. Usually general variety shop. Every village (Pind) usually had two or three hut-E's (Hatti's). I have a clear memories of atleast 3 hut-E's (Hatti's) in my village (Pind) named Nandi di Hut-E, Laale di hut-E Even in my Sikh Majority village (Pind), most of the hut-E's (Hatti's) were predominantly ran by Hindus. Everyone knew each other. I still remember one incident from my Childhood. Me and My brother went to hut-E (Hatti) to buy Rs. 1 ($0.018) Aamkut Churan, but we were foolish and tried to steal one extra. The shop owner saw it and asked us to return it and he won't tell our Grandmother. We returned it and he never told our Grandmother. The main objective of the hut-E is to re-unite your Childhood (Bachpan) memories related with late 90s and early 20s snacks.
